About Océane.

I am a graphic designer from Paris, currently based in Amsterdam, although my ultimate goal is to be location independent. I have studied graphic design in NYC Shillington School and started freelancing in 2014 as "Fernand et Firmin" with projects ranging from brand identity and web design, to print and illustration, to creative consulting and content creation.

For me design is an experimentation . It is about colour, shape, texture. But design is also applied art, and in that way, I will work with you to strategise towards what will be good for your brand, for your customers as opposed to basing designs on what you and I "like". Design serves a purpose, it has to deliver an idea, a concept as clearly as possible, as convincingly as possible . The design needs to support the idea, it needs to help it get through to whoever will be on the receiving end of it.

TESTIMONIALS

“Océane brought bloomon online design to a new level. She is curious, open minded, easily adapts to others and understands the way of working of a startup. She is a great designer with often new and creative solutions. She is not only very skilled, but also a lovely person to work with.” — Rozsa Groothoff, bloomon

“Océane has helped KPMG Smart Tech Solutions to develop a beautiful and non-corporate looking brochure for our smart software solutions. I enjoyed working with Oceane. Although we already had our visuals for the brochure, there was a perfect match between the design and layout Oceane proposed to us for the final version. She is very keen in understanding the clients demand and need. Apart from that, if you give her the freedom to show her creativity and her input, she can really surprise you (on a positive way). She is a team player, design artist and give your product that extra twist it needs. I would highly recommend Oceane!” — Ghislaine Bowier, KPMG
